Do you believe that somewhere in your heart you hold a special little love for all your past relationships, good or bad, as simply a remembrance of the times you shared with different people? I believe that love is a circle and it never breaks or ends. Yes, people move on and yes, contact ends eventually....but don't you think in your heart, everyone has a special place for everyone they met who touched them in some way, even if they didn't end up together?

I believe I have learned something from every relationship, I wouldn't change that. I believe there is always room in my heart for those in the past, even though I no longer see them. I don't regret having given my heart in love for the most part, I am glad for the lessons.

Yes, I do agree.
Each and everyone of my relationships since I was in the 6th grade have taught me new things.
I learned many valuable relationship lessons that have actually helped me out in the long wrong. Each relationship shows you different things and if you end up hurt in a relationship, it shows you how you wouldn't act towards your partner in a future relationship.
All in all, I'll never forget my past relationships because they've taught me both good and bad things.
I have issues with trust due to past relationships but I have also blossomed into a mature, loving, caring person in a relationship due to my learning experiences in the past.

Absolutely! Everyone has experiences that the learn from and grow from and usually they hold a special place in the heart for the person that experienced it with them good or bad.

We all live and learn, its expericence, it is who we are and who we become, very one is special and has something to offer to one another. Even if it is for a short time, and sometimes when you think they aren't in your life anymore, they come back to surprise you!! I lost contact with friends along time ago, and now i have the pleasure of they're company again. Remember that little puppy you had as a kid? Memories are supposed to bring smiles and sunshine. There is nothing wrong with holding on to that special feeling that makes in your heart that makes you "you"

I think it all depends on why or how you parted. If it was on good terms then yes I think its possible to still hold a place in your heart for that person. But I think if it was on bad terms you will try your best to forget that person and move on with your life. But I know what you are trying to say.

Well, I used to think so, but after a while, when you no longer have contact with those people (person), that goes away. You forget, especially when you find the person that is sooo good for you, that they don't even compare with those from the past.

Yeah, I agree to that. All the men in my life who have touched my heart will always have a small place there. Not the jerks, though. They get remembered but I've revoked their heart priveledges. lol

Yes...they will (or can) have a special place in your heart- but that dogged out flaming love for them will wane for them overtime..you will think of them fondly but others will replace them in time.
