It's terrific - I love it. And Charleton Heston in his young days, on that raft in the ocean with nothing on but a little loin cloth - wow.

And whoever mentioned a remake, there is no remake of Ben Hur. The color one from the late '50's is acutally the remake, of the silent Ben-Hur from the '20's.

Gods, I hated that movie. It was like a horror movie in its length and tedium. I kept wanting to rename it, "The Film that Wouldn't End". That and Spartacus were just atrociously long films that for some reason got a whole bunch of hype... Like Titanic. Two hours into the movie I was ready to start screaming "SINK ALREADY!"

We all knew it was coming... Who were they kidding?

The one with Charles Heston is, the best. The remake is okay.

It is a pretty good flick. Better than Gladiator. See Spartacus too.
