I have a laptop presario 700. I want to turn down the contrast, or darken the screen. How would I do this?

I failed to mention that The laptop keyboard does not work, (its unpliugged,) and I have a regular keyboard USB.

usually this is on every lap top that ive seen.
hold fn key and on arrows press up or down. they should have little sun symbols on them.
but then again i might be wrong. so yea check the manual.

On the front of the screen there are buttons that you can do that with. Consult your owner's manuel.
