that you want to be friends with him but nothing more wihtout hurting his heart ? and still being good pals if he likes you but you don't like him?

There is no way of telling him without hurting him in some way. You have to be upfront and not lead him on. If he is a true friend he will understand, be hurt, but understand.

Wow. That sucks. For both of you. If you are 100% sure that you want to be "just friends" with this guy then you need to tell him. Leading him on by avoiding this little talk will only hurt him WAY more in the end. Just drop a subtle hint or say it straight out. He will be a little hurt, but it won't be as painful compared to if you let the situation drag on for months. Good Luck!!!

the other guy's right... it's not possible. but here is an idea: the best way to get over someone is to notice a flaw they have and focus on it until you find them unattractive.
it's up to him to get over you. but you could help him by acting like an idiot.
you also may not be able to be friends--ask yourself if you are being selfish in wanting to stay friends, or if it's going to be good for you both.
