It depends. It depends if the person considers themselves male or female. It does not depend on what's in their pants. It also depends on what their partner considers themselves, regardless of their plumbing. Sometimes neither would be correct. There are people that don't define themselves as male or female, so it would be impossible to label their sexual life as one or the other.
