Okay, I have already had a "life" but I am now searching for a new career b/c I am a single mother and need more time with my son and enough money to live well and provide him with an excellent future! I will get any kind of degree possible! I want to have fun or help people in my work. I love fashion but have no idea how to get a job in that! I used to be a retail manager and the hours are too much for me...

Would you be interested in the real estate and mortgage industries? Either as an agent or just an investor.
I highly recommend investing whether the market is good or bad. You just change the strategies that you use. I am not just talking about buying ugly houses, fixing them up and flipping them. That is one strategy. There are several others that anyone can learn and prosper with. The hardest step is making that first phone call but it gets easier with time and with the right attitude and motivation.

Create a new space in part of your home, and make it available for rent, for a responsible and mature adult with a job, which will create extra income for you and your child and/or future necessities. Create a second space for your passion in fashion, and create it, with your label on it, then display it in one of your windows. Make yourself an album of each piece you have created for your own records to have on hand just in case someone in the industry has an interest in your work. Schedule fashion shows with flyer's held on weekends, and ask teens to be your models for free of course, who knows perhaps they may want to purchase the outfits themselves. Ask them what they like and don't like about it, to give you a sense of direction for future work in progress. Hope that helps, good luck.
