I have a guy friend (not a boyfriend!) and he is a freshman for temple university. i have known him for more than 10 years because of church and i'm very upset to see him leave. i wanted to do something special for him so i've decided to make a care package..only i don't know what to put in..any ideas?

Get some fun candy, maybe a friendship bracelet, maybe some fun items from the dollar story. wrap each one and tie a long ribbon on it. then put them all in a gift bag with the strings hanging out and he can pick one each day for the first week. What a great friend you are! Hope you come up with some fun stuff!

Temple University is my Alma Mater. It's a great school!
I'm assuming he is living in a dorm, so the following things would be great:
Laundry detergent
A roll of quarters
A snack food specific to your hometown
T-shirts
Condoms
A prepaid calling card from 7-11
No-Doze

Hmmm... you could give him a care package of all the stuff he would need in the University. Like his favorite nonperisible foods, coupons, maybe some school supplies. Just follow your heart since you know him very well and he would like it.

When in school, I loved receiving care packages with candies and other snacks. If you are willing to splurge, add a favorite CD or DVD. Gift certificates or gift cards for things like fast food and video stores were always appreciated. Sometimes, people would throw in silly photos, cards, or toys to remind me of an occasion we shared together.

home made cookies (choc. chip, etc.) in a tin, peanut butter and cheese crackers, couple of donuts in plastic, M&M's, whole grain bars for energy, whatever you think he likes. Enclose a few return envelopes with postage and your address on them. Maybe send him a $9 camera (so you can see what he seeing there on campus), Since the postage depends on the weight you might want to use your bath scale to keep it real.

homemade cookies, microwave popcorn, candy, pictures from home, local things that you can only get in your region, a CD that you burned yourself just for him. That's about all I can think of at the moment.

how abt his fav snacks ...........a book .....pics so he can remember the fun times....a camera so he can send u pics.... pre- payphone cards so he can keep in touch.....funny pair of socks (just to make him laugh)
