I don't really know about that particular survey. But, I graduated high school, went to henry ford community college and the university of michigan and i did not vote for Bush. If that means anything. On the other hand i do know some very educated people who did vote for bush (not very many) but some.

I have two degrees and I voted for Bush twice. He wasn't my first choice for the Republican nomination, but you don't always get what you want. Most people are angry over his war policy. As far as I am concerned, he has been entirely too soft on the middle east. But, he is a hell of a lot more hard on them than Gore or Kerry would have been. But, I am extremely right wing in my views. The person I would like to see as President is not going to happen. We are never going to have a hard core person that wages an all out war on Arabs. There are just too many weaklings in this country to vote a man like that in. I really wish we could have another Barry Goldwater come up for the Republican nomination, but its not going to happen. So, I vote for the person that leans to the right the most.
I wouldn't take surveys from USA Today as the gospel by the way. USA Today is not a newspaper known for its educated reader base. It is basically a glorified tabloid with color graphs.

I really do't think so.
People in the United States are pretty much on to who they want for president.
I voted for Gore for my own reasons.
When Bush won the election I jumped on the chance to support the policies as best I could for the person in the Oval office.
I used to do that when I was in the military and it is something I intend to do because he is commander in chief.
I have problems with a lot of things that go on politically, but I truly believe in patriotism at all costs. I think that we as Americans would all be better off if we stopped following our own agenda, and start backing the guy in power at least until his term is over and then boot him out if he didn't do a good job,

No it means the more education you have the less street smarts you have. There is a difference between formal education and street smarts. Almost all millionaires are not formally educated. A large part of people with PHD's cannot function in the real world and cannot deal with people. Another part of the liberalism of the highly educated is lawyers. Lawyers are generally very liberal and almost always vote for Democrats.

Those that voted for Bush were also more likely to make over
$50, 000 per year. Does that make those that didn't vote for Bush broke *****?

I LOVE IT C.K. Did you see the Chimpeach question earlier?
Bush basically got vote from people who could be motivated by fear. Oh, some extremely rich votied to pay less of their share but they too know he was wrong. You can see now the large majority of the country denies voting for him.

My Marxist professor (I am not kidding he is a Marxist) told me that High School Dropouts and High School Graduates vote Democrat and College Grads vote Republican. Those with advanced degrees though vote Democrat. So it is the incredibly dumb and incredibly smart who vote Democrat and moderately smart who vote Republican.

Well, we all know by now they can't count properly. So that should give you the correct answer. Yes.
That and birds of a feather stick together don't they?
Maybe the current adminitstration should be tarred, and feathered, and thrown out.
