I'm traveling to modesto,Ca. what's the closest airport? I'll be traveling from ft.lauderdale area. I'd really appreciate any information. Thank you in advance.

I assume you're flying a commercial carrier. In that case, fly into Sacramento, CA. Modesto is south of Sacto on hwy 99. I would estimate the mileage at around 50 to 100 mi. DON'T fly into San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose. They are further away, and will put you into the heart of rush hour traffic. 3 to 4 hours isn't an unreasonable estimate of how long it would take you to get to Modesto.
If you're flying small private plane, fly directly into Modesto. Modesto is much larger than Los Banos, and MUST have an airport. I don't ever recall seeing an airport in Los Banos.
