There is 2 chances of you falling pregnant. Zero and zero. Sperm has a 18 hour max life span in very good conditions. The fact that you took your pill before intercourse and then a day later is fine. You should have doubled up on the pill when it was missed. Remember this NB.NB.NB. However, do not play this game. There is also a morning after pill. Try it. The stuff works. My advice is you are fine. Just don't do it again. Abortion and the morning after pill is not contraception its far graver than that. Be safe and good luck my friend.

sperm can live in the body for up to 5 days. some womens bodies are so sensitive that if they are even a few minutes off taking their pill, they can ovulate. So, its possible that the sperm were still alive in your body and when you missed a pill you ovulated and got pregnant. ANYTIME you have sex, no matter how "careful" you are or what time of the month it is, you CAN get pregnant.

Slim but possible, make sure to take the extra one you missed in the morning and the current days one in the evening.

If you want to be absolutely sure then take a morning after pill.

Pregnacy occurrs when the spem hits the egg. If the egg was 'hidden' at the time of intercourse .. there is no pregnacy. Missing your pill a day after intercourse will have no effect on yesterdays sex.
