remember when there was a big push towards generic foods?
food would be packaged in plain white bags with black writing on the outside, giving the minimum practical amount of info regarding what was inside. the same applied to cans, etc.
anyway, i was alone in my house and looking for a snack when I happened on a box of "chocolate drops" or something like that -- basically, the product looked like giant Hershey's Kisses.
so, i tried one and it was fantastic -- so i kept eating for a while (probably 1/3 to 1/2 of what had been a pretty large, full box)
i decided then that i wanted to learn more about the product and i started reading the little print and about halfway through, I realized i had been eating doggy treats!
even with nobody else around, it was a little embarassing, mostly because i thought they were sooooo good! LOL
and i know lots of people that have accidentally eaten cat food that they mistook for some sort of canned meat left open in their respective refrigerators; most said it tasted great, but i haven't tried it.

Honey, we have gone over this hundred times with you. They have a taste panel of Dogs and Cats that try it to see if it's good, then they fill out out questionar and interview process explaining why they liked or disiliked it.
Please stop sampling the dog food, it's not good for you

I haven't tasted any of my puppy's food yet, but some of it defintely smells better than others. I think your pet will be the best judge of whether or not something tastes good.

cats know what taste good and what doesn't.
the commercials are entertaining, but let's face it...
if it doesn't taste good we're not going to eat it
no matter how adorable mr. kitty is on television.

I guess they do taste tests with dogs. We do that at home. We'll buy him 2 different kinds of treats & see which one he takes first so we'll know he liked that one and to keep buying it.
