Abercombie & Fitch is more east coast Ivy League style geared towards college age customers (18 to 22), while Hollister & Co. is more laid back California style geared towards high school age teens. Then there is just Abercombie, which is geared towards middle school age kids (I think 10-14). Oh, and Hollister is also supposed to be a little less expensive.

Abercrombie owns Hollister. If you haven't noticed they have the same exact styles, but Hollister has it in a surf and beaten up look and Abercrombie is preppier. :)

hollister, abercrombie, and american eagle are all owned by the same company. so basically a lot of the times the clothes will look alike.

i think abercrombie/abercrombie & fitch are of better quality, but hollister is much cheaper and pretty much just as cute. also, abercrombie (especially a&f) are more for really really skinny people, whereas hollister's clothes go up to bigger sizes.

Hollister has more "beachy" clothing than abercrombie. abercrombie is more casual. i like abercrombie better. look at their websites then you should see the difference
