I love Bush. I support him as our President - but as a man, I don't find him interesting at all (save for his testimony).
I would have dinner with President Carter because he, to me, is the single most effective president - out of office. You got to wonder, what went wrong? I wasn't alive when he was President, so these questions bear on my mind.
He has done so much for the world since his presidency, and in short, I find him intriguing, and a mystery. What are his personal beliefs, what motivates him, etc.

Jimmy Carter, I would ask him why he didn't help the shaw of Iran stay in power, instead of ushering in the Islamic fascists rule of Iran and unleashing the radical Islamics like the Ayatollahs, he has caused all the trouble we are having today with the radical Islamics. Now they want to take over the world, he was the worst president ever and history will bare that out. And he continues to bash America today and take sides with the terrorists. I couldn't eat with him, I wouldn't have an appetite

The current President talks about Christianity, Carter acts upon it. Carter tried to place some peace in the Middle East, the current president is causing more and more conflict. Carter did not have support by congress while in office, so he wasn't effective. The current president has support by congress while in office, and he is less effective than Carter.
The nomination goes to.....Carter by landslide

I have a lot of respect for Jimmy Carter, he is a man of strong moral convictions, and he spends his time helping people(not just photo ops). If I had dinner with President Carter, I would like to discuss his childhood in Plains, and his plans for the future.

Jimmy Carter because he has really done some admirable things like working with Habitat for Humanity, and he seems very intelligent so he would be an interesting dinner companion.

Id pick Bush an we'd discuss what a retard Jimmy Carter is and how he botched negotiations in North Korea during the Clinton administration.
Then wed spend the rest of the evening trying to figure out if Jimmy Carter ever did anything constructive while he was in office.

I'd rather eat with GW. I think it would be more interesting because of he is the current oresident, and I'd like to ask questions about the Mddle East. Also, my son is a Marine, so I could talk to him about that. Jimmy Carter is a good guy because of Habitat for Humanity and all, but I don't think he'd be very fun to eat dinner with.

Jimmy Carter. During his time in office I saw him as a lame president. But now that I have had a chance to read his beliefs and thoughts, I realize he was smarter and more well thought out than I could imagine. He was also truthful, and America simply can't have an honest politician. It makes us uncomfortable knowing the truth.
