Do some exploring...try to come up with a list of potential jobs you would be able to see yourself doing. What are some of your hobbies? Does your schooling give you an advantage in any area? Where do you think you'll be most happy? What are your long-term goals for yourself in terms of what you want to accomplish? Where are there job openings in the area that you live? Is salary a high, medium, or low priority? These are all questions that can help you narrow your options and formulate a decision for your career but you must figure this out for yourself because just doing what someone else encourages you to do...you might as well just stay at the job you are at now. Good luck.

I once worked in social work and my friend is doing what you're currently doing as a case manager.
You would be a great claims adjuster, whether it be Workman's Comp or auto claims. You have the ability to work well with others, you have attention to detail in regards to notes and documentation and you are used to your files being audited.
My friend was previously a teacher. With your degree you can start teaching immediately. With the nationwide teacher shortages you can go to the main office of your local school district and with a Bachelor's Degree you can work as a full-time teacher and only have to complete 21 credit hours within 3 years to be a certified teacher. I am considering that program in my hometown. I was a claims adjuster and it is rewarding and fast-paced ($35k to start).

Would you like to take this up?
There is a way to earn money Online from Home, which is not a scam and which doesn't need any investment. It's legal and related to online health consultations in alternative medicines. I'm doing it in teamwork with people I met on Yahoo! Answers. I'm happy to say our team is growing, with each passing day. You can have the details, if you wish.

In the public sector there are many other kinds of social work.

Your skills and education may be transferable to some kind of teaching job.

In the private sector: there is Human Resources (which used to be called Personnel Management).

Also, many private companies need various types of trainers and instructors.

Hate to return a question with a series of questions, but what do you like to do? What is something you are passionate about? What job makes your heart skip a beat with excitement when you think about it?

Pursue your passions and your dreams. This will help you not only decide on a career but also give you a job that you are gonna love!

Best of luck!

I don't know what your educational background or past job experience is.
Get something that pays as much as you can. If your job doesn't make you happy, join the club. Make your personal life as fun or interesting as you can. Play guitar, create art, do whatever you like.
You may want to consider working for yourself if you can figure out what you want. Its a big world!
