No difference man. There both the same thing. Some people call them notebooks, others laptops.

Both are almost same. Laptop is a notebook but all notebooks are not laptop. i.e. tablet PC is also a notebook but not laptop. Notebook is a broader version whereas Laptop just means by itself.

Morever for fun to say, some times notebooks are made of papers also but laptops are not

A notebook and laptop are the same thing. Laptop kind of means you should be able to use it in your lap, but many laptops run too hot to sit in your lap and use. That's why they will call them notebooks instead.

If there is any real difference, a laptop will be less powerful but put out less heat, while a notebook will be more powerful and put out more heat, preventing you from using it in your lap.

When I first heard the term notebook, it referred to a portable that was thinner and lighter than a laptop. It was an advertisement catch phrase. Since that time, the distinction between the two has become clouded, and it really refers to the same thing.
