I do not think it is unhygienic but some people would prefer to use a milder soap on their face than on other body parts. the best soap ever is Dr. Bronners liquid castile soap in peppermint. It is extremely refreshing used everywhere and since it is a liquid there is no "tranfer" Try it and see!

Not really. Plus the one made for the body is pretty harsh for the face due to the pH levels. But it depends on what brand of soap.

Yes, because it's soap. The point of soap is to cleanse yourself, (obviously), so dirt won't stick to it and transfer from one part of the body to the other. I guess if you think about it, it kind of just makes sense, but I see where you're coming from.

I use dove and it is safe for both the body and face.
But keep one by the sink and one in the shower.

that is a little knowen cause of teenage acne!
i don't even use soap on my face.
its just to harsh.
i use facial cloths, they work awesome!
but yeah, don't use ur shower soap!
