I haven't timed myself on a page, but did find a website that times you. It said I read about 350 to 400 words a minute.

hmm i checked it out and i was doing about 30-45sec per page, but i usually read 300-400 page books in a under 6 hours so the math might be a little longer on the average.

If I'm reading a good book that I'm really into, then probably about 40 seconds. If it's the beginning and I'm not interested yet, however, it might take up to 2 minutes.

30 seconds to 1 minute. Sometimes, I like particular passages and read them over which takes a few seconds.

It depends on your definition of standard novel. If the text is kinda big, it would take me 30 seconds, but if the text is small, it would probably take me 1 minute.

If it's a paperback, it takes a bout a minute. A hardbound book takes about ninety (90) seconds.

It depends on how many words are on the page. The size of print and type of print.
