Doctors say it takes women 9 months to feel normal again after childbirth. Did you have a c-section, cuz if you did then you will still be hurting that way till hes 2 months old. If your hurting so bad that you can't stand it than call the Doc. It wouldn't be a stupid call. It's a geniune concern.

I have the same pain. Very sharp pains like cutting... and it also feels like it stings or burns.. I went to the doctor and I have a hernia right behind my belly button...
I would definitely go to the doctor and get that looked at.
Good luck!

You shouldn't be having sharp pains like that. I would go back to the doctor or at your 6 week check up make sure you let the doctor know.

Everyone is different, but it sounds to me like your uterus is still getting back into "shape". It takes some time, and everyone takes a different amount of time. When you go back for your 6 week check with your ob, let them know about it so they can make sure everything is fine, or explain to you what is going on.

Honey, that is not normal. You need to see your OBGYN. He or she should take care of the problem right away. Especially since you have had this problem for a month. Good luck.

You should have pains but light pains like when your on your period, but not that kind of pain you are describing. If it is very painful you might have infection. Make an appt. w/ doc.

Yes, especially if you are breast feeding. It's your uterus going back into place.
