okay i get REALLY bad cramps and i have to take 3 advil or tylenol etc. at the same time or i will be in alot of pain sometimes i still have cramps and i was thinking about trying midol but if it isnt strong enough for my cramps i dont want to be in pain does midol really work?

Midol is the same as "Ibuprophen" (Motrin). It just has a fancy name and price to match. Try "Motrin or Aleve". Best you can buy! (Also) drinking something hot,such as "Tea with Lemon",helps to calm menstral cramps. (Good Luck).

I have very bad cramps and found that generic over-the-counter drugs did not work for me. I personally had to turn to a prescription medication. It will depend, though. Midol might work for you, it might not.

It does wonders for cramps. Then again, so does Motrin. I've only been taking Midol for a year or so but I've never had a period, no not once! I'm sold. I didn't have one before, but I'm not taking any chances now.

It always worked for me! I have a couple of guy friends who swear by it for hangovers too.

It never did for me.
If you have that much pain you should discuss it with your OB. there may be something they can do for you.
