since iverson aint getting traded right now what do you think the
sixers should do to get back into the playoffs??

Coach: M.Cheeks
Rosters:

*Center: S.Dalembert (4), S.Hunter (5)
*Power Forward: C.Webber (13), S.Randolph (1), E.Bavcic (R)
*Small Forward: A.Iguodala (2), B.Jones (R), R.Carney (R)
*Shooting Guard: K.Korver (3), W.Green (3)
*Point Guard: A.Iverson (10), L.Williams (1), K.Ollie (9)

for my opinion i think the sixers should sign a point guard like Jay Williams to move A.I to guard position, then if not..louis williams should step up to play point and still move a.i, also they should sign a good young center for posting up.... so for now i think the starting lineup should be...

C.Dalembert
PF.Webber
SF.CArney
SG.Iguodala
P.Iverson

TEll me your opinions on what the sixers should do this summer since they kept a.i

Jay Williams ? the one with the bike accident? The only way Sixers can actually starts winning is to get an enforcer at power forward and a shutout defender at shooting guard. And play the slow ball, tight defence game, low scoring games like the old Knicks. Look at the backcourt combo, no one plays defense but Allen and maybe Willie. And C-Webb is becoming a liability on both ends of the court.

If you can't win, at least win ugly.

You can bat this around, or I should say hoop it around forever and not come up with much, or only conjecture. You need to wait to see what the coach and the powers to be do, before the season starts. The sixers have some real good players and things need to jell better. I have enjoyed watching them play most of the time. I don't live in the area, so I have no idea what junk the sports newspapers in the area are putting out. I am a Celtic fan for I live in New Hampshire, but love basketball and watch all games I can get. I know the Boston papers get on the Celtics case and actually cause more harm, by writing bad things about players. No matter what stick behind your team, it is the right thing to do.

In my opinion, the Sixers are not going to go ANYWHERE until they make a trade. For example, if they trade Allen Iverson to the Hornets for Chris Paul, that would make an impact on both teams. Iverson would dominate there and bring the team to playoff contention and paul would be the past first point guard that the sixers despretly need. With Scorers like C-Webb, Igouladala, and Korver, they need someone to distribute rather than score himself.

The sixers are about to explode finincially, and you probably know that already, so any deals made will be for salary purposes. As far as we know, AI, C-Webb, and Dalembert are still on the trading block, but no one wants to take on their ludicrisly large salaries, so they'll probably have to waive one of these guys or this team could turn into an ugly mess in a couple years

As they can switch Iguodala between SF and SG, They should get another scorer who can play D in either position. Preferably at SG, since they already have 3 at SF.

If they did get another shooting guard, AI could change his game and play like a real point guard. Pass to make shots and to not make bad shots himself. Spread the offense. With his ability, this play could make the difference.

I think they should add players in center and forward...so that not every game that iverson is the highest pointer & a good back up for him.

what they should do and what i would love to see is Kevin Garnett and Allen Iverson wearing the same uniform. those are the two hungriest players for a championship.. and the two most deserving. its unlikly, but the skill and passion those two athletes bring to the floor is amazing.
