Interesting, no body actually truly knows no matter what surveys and polls say, but IQ does not have much to do with politics, believe it or not

Traditionally the Republicans have held the edge, but right now it's pretty much a toss up. The Democratic party seems to have captured the extremes of high and low, with the Republicans claiming the lions share of those close to average. If your interested in real numbers and not just someones half-assed opinion, feel free to follow the link below.

I'm sorry but IQ has nothing to do with it. Both major parties are running this country into the ground. They are apparently quite different and certainly disagree on many issues. The reality is that they are really quite similar and agree on many things (like spending money that has to be borrowed-read created out of thin air-and continuing our war in Iraq and Afghanistan). The perception of there being a difference helps to keep us entrapped in the system we have where no third party has a realistic chance of catching on significantly with the public.

This is an easy question to garner the vitriole from either side of the aisle. The reality is, (as you must already know) is that this cannot be answered honestly.
What may be a better question is, can one fool all of the people all of the time, some of the people all of the time, or all the people some of the time?
I think you may find that one cannot fool all of the people all of the time, but the other two premises are quite possible.
The best defense against being fooled (not a guarantee, but at least a defense) is to arm oneself with unbiased, unfiltered, non-partisan and varied information from as many resources as one can possibly discover.

Neither of them. Both groups' collective IQs are equally low.

welll, being a betting man, I say that Republicans have money and know how to make it? and Democrats always want to help the "poor"? i.e. freebie lovers---what is smarter ?? giving it away or taking care of your self and family? Jesus said the poor are always with you. so I know He knew what he was talking about!

Studies have shown that blue (Dem) states have higher IQs than red (Rep) states.
This is due to a "brain-drain."
Most of the intelligent folks born in red states (like Idaho or Wyoming) migrate to blue states (like NY and Calif) to find decent jobs.
The dumber folks born in red states stay to work in McD's or dog-grooming parlors.
