Each person's balance would be different of course but yes. You must put God first, family, work, extended family and then friends, and to remember to work toward learning to be more Christ-like every day.

Of course! People should always try to keep their lives in balance between all of the many layers that each person has. Nobody wants to just be that sucessful person at work, but a lonely person with no freinds or close family. keeping your life balanced, will help you achieve the best of things, including happiness.

"Balance" is different for everyone. You may enjoy one aspect better than another and that is what makes life what it is. Now finding balance it can be harder if you dont know what you are looking for. But yeah, I do agree that life is finding out what you like, and balance completes it.

Very often people try to balance their lives in the way they think others think they should. Contentment is only found with being true to yourself.

No, that's too complicated for humans. We're much more simple and animalistic than that. For most people life is about competeing with other people with whatever means they posess. Athletes compete with each other physically, nerds compete with each other with computer skills. The behaviour of a group of human males that don't know each other is very much like dogs sniffing each others butts. A group of human females will name drop and attack each other with nuance and implied meanings in the hope of establishing themselves as the most suitable for breeding.

Well for me, all I can hope for is to be reasonably happy most of the time. I must accept a few bumps toward either extreme, otherwise it would get mighty boring. The "downs" are what make the "ups" so gratifying.

In most things yes balance is probably to be sought, however some principals are worth being inflexable about.

Life is about so much more than finding your balance, your always looking for your direction. It's about more than just your heart and you, it's about the hearts surrounding you, and those that affect you spiritually and emotionally.

i agree for those who are wanting balance.. like myself. I think it brings happiness to those who want a productive and stable life.

Some people arent looking for balance.. they enjoy their overly dramatic hectic lives, and which for more drama (as one example of a lifestyle.. cant think of more right now though..)
