what do I do?

I work for a company that sends me around the US, (and sometimes germany and japan), to get internet computer **things** done.

Do you have time for a life?

Yes, mostly, but I have to drop everything once in a while and this makes it hard to have a girlfriend. Cause women want to be NUMBER ONE.

What kind of pay do I make?

Good pay. I will never be rich, but I'll be ok.

Did you have to have schooling?
YES !! this was the only thing that got me to where I am today. It was SCHOOL !!! I went to a four year college and got a degree in electrical engineering. After I got a job with a company, I went to school at night and got a masters degree. I HAD TO BUST MY *** AND WORK HARD.

And guess what? I STILL GO TO SCHOOL !!!!

I work in the hotel industry. I chose this work because I love interacting with people, and I enjoy playing with numbers and financial information. The job hours can be demanding, as the business operates 24/7/365. The opportunities to make a good income in this field are out there, but expect to pay your dues in low-paying positions to start. Schooling is becoming more standard for those advancing in management positions in hospitality, although it is one industry where you can still advance on experience too. I would suggest a bachelors degree in business coupled with plenty of work experience to smooth your way.

I am a professional independent retail merchandiser. I do it because after 30 years of working up to 70 hours per week it does allow me to have a life. The pay is not as good as I could earn but the ability to spend time with my family on special occasions and at holiday times is worth more than the extra money.

I am a corporate paralegal. I live in the South and I make approximately $40,000 per year (19 years experience). I am a single mother of two (15 and 11). I have an active social life.

I chose a two year degree as opposed to a 4 year degree. In my opinion, experience is worth more than education in my field.

I am a certified animal sports massage therapist. I work for myself, so I have as much or as little time for my life as I choose. I make $55-75/hr depending on the kind of animal I am working on. I went to school for this, but it was not as long as you might think. The work itself is very rewarding.
