Firefox is good. I use it whenever I'm not using AOL. However, we would need more information about what browser you use, what version, what kind of problem you are having, before anyone can say what the problem is.

Is it hijacked? If it is backup your important files do a system restore. Then after it's finished open it and download and install firefox. It's safer and it hardly ever gets hijacked.

A better fix would be to get firefox. all faves are importable.
firefox doesn't crash like IE, which I assume you have.

Did you get hi-jacked. download lsp-fix from http://download.com and bring it on a usb drive
