None of those cars are really sports cars.

The 95-99 Eclipse is very slow until you get a GS-T model which is OK or a GSX which is quick but rare.

96-99 Civic's are extremely slow. The Si is fun to drive, but by no means fast.

97 Acura CL's are quite nice cars, but a plush import coupe... nothing sporty about them even with the V6.

97-99 Del-sol... man... use your head, its just a civic, but heavier.

95-00 tiburons are a little quicker, given back then it was the eclipse motor (beta) in a lighter car.

Now, I'm not going to be an ignorant jackass and say corvette or mustang, because those obviously arn't on the list ;) but out of those, the Acura I think is the best car to own, given the optional V6 which puts it at about 50-100 more whp than the others (besides GST/X), superb reliability, and its quite a bit more appealing in general than the rest of the list given the availability of power everything, leather, sunroof, etc.

'95-'99 Mitsubishi Eclipse. They didn't come with a V-6 but they didn't need one- especially the GSX version. Made by Diamond Star Motors (a coloboration between Chrysler and Mitsubishi) and often refeered to as DSM's, the Eclipse GSX is all-wheel drive, 5-speed, and uses a 4G63 2.0L 16V DOHC turbocharged and intercooled in-line 4 making 210-bhp. The 4G63 engine has been around for years and it can make more power by just looking at it sideways. There are turbo kits, forged internals, engine management, camshafts, etc. There are examples with over 500-horses to the wheels! Very nice car, fast, quick, and lightweight.

eclipse is pretty cool, but must get a v6 to have any kind of power. del-sol way to small for my. i'm 6'1" and was hitting my head on the top when it was up. Tiburon is pretty good, but low on power

Ok, nothing you even listed can be classified as a sports car, for one.
