Where do you live, Saudi Arabia?

Right now it's hovering around $3 depending on the area of he country you are living in. It's gotten close to $4 at times where I live. The main reason for the price hike is the War, with Hurricane Katrina as a chaser that destroyed American oil rigs off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

We also have a large amount of private vehicles with very few places with a competant and reliable means of public transportation. So supply and demand also takes a part in the prices, along with gas station owners taking advantage of all the previous reasons in order to jack the prices even higher.

I don't kniow where you live but it's 2.68 to over 3 bucks here us dollars. Don't ever beleive there is a shortage of oil here. This country has 80% of it's oil reserves tapped off.As profitable as oil is some one here in business and science realize( besides the presiden who may know nothing) the danger of pumpin allof that oil out of the ground.
The oil shoirtage is a myth, before the hurricane we never depended on oil from the gulf of mexico. Most of the oil from that area is repumped into underground storage for later use. We've had hurricanes before which distroued or stoppe doil in the gulf, and the oil companies are capitable of refitting them in weeks not years. It's one big scam by oil rich politicians

Wow, that would be pretty bad. I'm kind of rusty on my metric units, but it's about $2.50 (USD)/gallon in Lexington, KY, USA. I went to Chicago early this month and it was around $3.25/gallon.

Rephrase your question in US gallons. Our ex-Vice President invented the internet and we have the biggest cars in the world, so I think it's only fair.

The French invented the metric system. You don't want to be anything like THEM, do you?
