OK, here's the thing, I used to really hate macintoshes but when I used a mac the other day I absolutely fell in love with the Graphics and so forth. The problem is that I hated mac's because people told me that they were ****. How do I convince people to not believe what they have been told and to try the mac os?

Gee I don't know... You used a mac the other day and now you want to change the world.... I think your best bet is to continue to use the MAC and attempt to do all that you can do on a PC. Use all the apps that are available for the PC, and upgrade as inexpensively as you can do with a PC.

happy mac'ing

This is the kind of question which Mac users have been living with ever since we got ourselves a Mac. We are aware of the superior OS and average PC hard wares, but trying to convince people who own or are accustomed to theirs take an open-minded few to at least try them for awhile.
Leave them judge for themselves (let their conscience do the work). You might have to assist them from time to time when they need additional tasks they are acquainted with their PCs.
After all, there's no harm in letting your friends into good things.
That's how I look at it.

You'll just have to have them try one so they can see what it is like for themselves, instead of what they have been told. Macs have changed a lot in the last few years. Have them try it for themselves.

If you want, you could just have them try it, and don't tell them its a Mac until they have used it.
