Is the media a response to reality or is reality a response to the media?

Reality is the response to the media. . . I mean think about it. . If these people in the streets didn't see all these people on t.v. how many of them would really want to be famous. How many of them would not be wearing what the stars wear. . . If they ONLY read about the worlds history in books, magazines or newspapers, how many of the people on this planet would care. I mean of course they'd think about it but how many people do you think would never evne think about taking a small metter into their own hands
