If you have the Yahoo toolbar, it has a pop-up blocker that works very well. That is all I have, and I get almost no pop-ups.

Easy. Go to my blog http://osmondparam.blogspot.com/2006/08/mozilla-firefox-and-adblock.html and follow those directions. You'll get a better browser and you'll get rid of the ads and pop-ups. Use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer when you open up the internet.
