how do you make a soundboard?

I want to make a Butters from South Park soundboard. How do i do it?

To make a soundboard you would first have to take a course in audio electronics design and application. Then you would have to design the soundboard making sure you are not using any circuitry that has any patent, copy write protection. Then you would have to obtain the necessary components required, design and construct the printed circuit board and assemble.
Might be cheaper and easier to just buy one?
