yes and yes...unless they were meeting to do something nice for you....then slap yourself upside the head...but I doubt it...and if you keep either one of them you ask for it.

That's just wrong. They are both supposed to be loyal to you and they go behind your back??? C'mon...you can do way better than that. They should have more respect for you than that. If either one of them cared about you they wouldn't even consider putting you through that. I would dump the boyfriend and definately confront your so-called best friend about the situation. No true friend would ever let a guy come between you and her. Sorry to have to say all that cause I know how hard it is to go through, but you'll be better off in the long run without that guy and possibly that girl in your life.

That is so horrible, I am so sorry to hear that. I would not trust my boyfriend any more so what would be the point of keeping him around and I wouldn't trust my so-called best friend any more either and without trust there is no relationship. I say that you get some support from family and friends who you can really trust and let them go. It will be hard and hurtful, but at least it's temporary, if you continue to deal with one or both of them then it might be a recurrence that you have to continue to deal with. Good Luck and I wish you the best.

i would confont the two of them.. invite both over and ask them if they want to be together or if they are fooling around! if they say yes don't flip out i mean your considering to write them off... ask her how she could do this to you listen to her if you feel her reason is acceptable for you to live with then continute to be her friend but don't ever throw it up in her face the only way you can stay friends is by fully accepting her reason. if she has a reason that your not please with or can not come to terms with it would be best for you both to part and go your own ways.
with him just F him he isn't worth your time! guys come and go friends most can stay forever. Remember friends can go threw a lot.
A friend of mine took the guy i was highly attracted to she was the only one who knew i broke up with my boyfriend to ask him out he said no and suddenly him and her were together she gave me her side and it took a little time to accept what i told her was this "name" this hurts me the fact that you could do this to me.. your suppose to be my friend. But i can see your point. However i need some time to think about things and get my self straight and with you and him together right now would be rubbing it in my face! so i'll call you."
and about 3 months down the road i did! she still is my best friend and so is the guy i thought i was attracted to he is more like a brother to me now! they are not together any more!
but they both are happy
Mad luv

First find out why they were out to eat. If they give pathetic answers or simply admit they are going out then I would say yes to both questions. If there is a valid reason then you need to look inside yourself and see if you believe what they say and if you can trust them in the future.

Have you confronted them at all??! Maybe it wasn't a "date" maybe they were discussing doing something for you and he was getting advice..... but then again it could be the other way around. I would ask them about the dinner first, then make your decision.

Yes. And your best friend too. That was terrible what they did. Forget both of them and get better friends.

Just as the other girl said, "Yes, and Yes".
With friends like that, who needs enemies?
