i need to know how i could monitor the date and time of someones log in and log out who's using a different computer with a yahoo Screen Name

You cannot accurately measure this --however you may be able to approximate it, if the other person is using messenger -- you simply let your messenger run, and assuming the other person is in your list of friend you should get notifications when you friend logs in and out of Messenger.
However you cannot determine what computer the person is using from Messenger.
If you receive emails from the person, you can read the header lines and that should tell you what IP address the mail was sent from -- you can use this as an indication as to where/which computer was used to send the mail.
