Yes. It's totally up to you and the friend as to how far the relationship goes so for it to stay platonic works. I've got several platonic friends.

its possible if YOU can keep it that way. I wanted to be just friends with many guys, BUT they guys wanted more than just friends. Girls can have a platonic relationship with a guy, however, guys have a hard time keeping a platonic relationship with a girl. It alll depends on you.

Totally impossible. Unthinkable. It's against nature. Why, you'll be laughed right out of the tail hook club for something like that. Yes, I believe it is possible, but if it is your secretary and your wife or gf is questioning you about it........you might want to look for another friend to be platonic with........such as a male friend....no seriously.....but otherwise.........This is a normal thing.....if you don't have a wife or girlfriend......Good for you, to be a gentleman about the situation!!
