Yes, I do it all the time because I do a lot of printing. When you get the refill kit (they have lots of them on eBay), it will have a little booklet in it. Find your cartridge and then follow the directions exactly. Be very careful not to touch the metal strip on the back and bottom of the cartridge. Be sure to put some newspaper down first, and wear rubber gloves, because it can get messy if you spill some ink. From my experience, you can keep refilling a cartridge for about a year, before it won't work any more, then you will have to get a new one.

Yes. u have one good answer already. there is a chemical available for cleaning the metal piece which contains some 50 micro holes. when some of these get clogged printing isnt good. i have refilled a cartridge 8 times max. follow instructions from the booklet. in fact it can cost much less than ebay prices also if u buy a 500 ml ink bottle for about $4 or 5. Messy - it is.

I've done it many times and always with good results. Be warned, however, that the type of cartridges that you are likely to fill have print heads built into them. They'll only last so long before the heads themselves fail. They'll be good for refilling 3 or 4 times, but I can't say how good they'll be after that.

Some fill easier than others. Some need a re-set cartridge. It can be done manually carefully. If you do very little printing, just use off brand makes perhaps.

I refilled my color cartridge and couldn't get the yellow to flow. I had let the cartridge dry out before attempting to refill it. That is not recommended, They say to top off the ink before it runs out. I do this with my black cartridge and it just keep going and going and going......!!!
Go for it if your cartridge is still printing somewhat. (not completely dry)

Yes. It was a bit fiddly, and I had to run the cleaning facility a great many times to get it going, but it worked beautifully. The instructions on the pack weren't sufficient to get the job done either, found what I needed on some internet site. Drop me a line if you want, and I'll try to find it for you, it was a good'un.
