New York City is the best. There is a market on 14th street at Union Square that is set up from Thanksgiving to Christmas. It's reasonably priced and they are all interesting gifts- handmade candles and sweaters, prints and artwork, beautiful jewelery.... And it feels very spirited shopping there. Not to mention, if you walk down 14th street, you'll run into all kinds of stores if you can't find anything in the market. I was able to get my shopping for my family of 7 and my 2 best friends in one day and it was under $150.
