Gay pride? Why would you take pride in the fact that you are abnormal? I'm autistic but proud? Huh? How can one be proud that one has a genetic predominance? Proud that my skin's a certain color, forebears did something? Makes no sense.

i didnt realise that there so many homophobic people still around.bloody hell y cant people just accept one another.it gets rite on my nerves. mind u im gay but i dont feel the need to march about the fact that iam.but it doesn't bother me that people do.

the pride we have is in the respect we deserve and earn for putting up with bigotted comments and general nastiness from morons who try to make our lives unbearable. i doubt the bigots, who are often gay/bi and in denial, i doubt these people could put up with the mindlessness we find ourselves encountering on a day to day basis because of them. they seriously need to grow up and show some morality/ethics themselves.
i love women, i fancy women, i want to make love to women for the rest of my life and for all eternity, in hell if need be, though it actually is heavenly. is that in your face enough? have i shoved that far enough down your throats? we have as much right to freedom of expression as any bigot. grrrrrrr......lol.....
on a lighter note, i think gay pride marches are a fantastic idea. hope you all had a load of FUN at manny pride and continue to let your freak flags fly for the rest of your lives, not just the bank holiday weekend. i fly my flag everywhere i go, with pride, and dignity and thanks for those before me who have made it possible for me to live openly as a lesbian. come out, come out, wherever you are....
