The people in Tulsa are down to Earth and friendly. There is a lot to do in Tulsa and there are a few malls.

I went to the U of Oklahoma in Norman and visited Tulsa a few times, but I never lived there.

There are many things to do in Tulsa. Philbrook Art Museum for one. How about the famous Cain's Ballroom, made famous by Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys? There's also the Tulsa Zoo, not to mention some great malls and restaurants. One of the best malls is Woodland Hills which is located at 71st & Yale. If you like theater, there is the Performing Arts Center. Have Fun!!

The main mall is right off of highway 169 on 71st and Memorial. It's called Woodland Hills Mall, and you can read about it on http://www.simonmalls.com . There's a new place by the Arkansas river called the Riverwalk, where a ton of people hang out. It has restaurants and cute little stores. It's right off of the highway at Riverside Drive (the next exit after Yale). Have fun in Tulsa!

Two malls in Tulsa: Woodland Hills at 71st and Memorial and Promenade at 41st and Yale. Woodland Hills is the better mall, if it's malls you're looking for.

Downtown is rebounding but still mostly commercial and not always safe. Some trendy clubs and bars are on Brady and surrounding area, but many are owned by non-Tulsans who seek to make Tulsa like San Francisco, which is absurd; Tulsa should be like Tulsa. There is a small but good local music scene, decent museums (Gilcrease has good southwestern art), and good steak restaurants. Also, Casa Bonita just reopened (albeit under a new name), which is all-you-can-eat Mexican food in a fabricated Mexican villa. Good steak places, too (Jamil's in 51st is one) and fantastic Philly steaks at Steak Stuffers at 51st and Lewis.
