when my wife is full of the booze she is very sarcastic, eg, we were in bed making love and i kissed her lips, neck, breasts, tummy, belly button then her knee's, she piped up " bet you wouldnt pass the pub "

Lesson for you: trying to make love to a drunk is an oxymoron.
Insist she be sober before she gains your affections, if she can't be sober, tell her you need to re evaluate your relationship if she loves booze more than you.
In the mean time go to Al anon. You can offer to sit in on an open AA meeting with her if she needs the support, but her recovery is her own.
You can only fix you, you cannot change another person, only how you react to their behavior.
Look around and you will find a wealth of on line support groups.

People are entirely different under the influence of alcohol! You must have observed this?! So, taking notice of what she is like when she's had some alcohol, is sort of not real. Who she is, when she's NOT under an influence like drink, is the real person you are married to! You might want to sit down with her, and tell her about what happens as you have described, and get it off your chest that it bothers you. She might want to `re-think- her usual habits as a result of this. So, give it a shot; at least you won't be sitting in silent resentment. Good luck with getting this sorted.

You're lucky she's only sarcastic when she's drunk! I'm constantly sarcastic and I'm sure my husband needs to be drunk to put up with it. Maybe you could gently (and quietly if she's hung over) tell her that in the bedroom it's not appreciated. Then adopt the policy of not doing it if she's drunk. And by the way, who kisses knees, honestly?

maybe you should talk to her about her drinking and give her a minimum number of drinks she can have in one night like if she gets drunk on 3 then make her min 1 or 2 drinks

I am very sarcastic when I am sober so normally people tend to tell the truth when they have alcohol in them. I would talk to her while she is sober and find out what she is wanting from you in bed. And also tell her what you are needing in bed as well. Regardless if she is sober or drunk -- she should respect your needs as well as you hers.
