"Does knowing everything mean you know nothing" er...no. Knowing everything means you know everything. That's everything, all things, total knowledge. Knowing nothing means you don't know anything.
What is your friend trying to do? Be deep? Why not ask "Is black white?", "Is good bad?" or "Is yes no".
People, including philosophers, often find significant questions confusing and difficult. This leads people to the erroneous conclusion that if a question is confusing and difficult then it must be significant. "Is one two?" is not a deep meaningful question. Its simple and the answer is the same as the answer to your question:
No

I Know something, and nothing I know, nothing in comparison to some thing. Everything Is a bigger number than we can know. But it is still some thing witch is not nothing. Knowing that in some peoples equations a large number can = out to nothing.
Einstein and others quest for a big T.O.E. ( theory of everything ). If I had that scratched on a napkin I'm sure it would not be nothing. Would it make me god? would that be some thing.
Now if I took the smartest human brain and hooked it to the fastest computer...no if I took 10 to the 123rd power brains + the same amount of computers that could not come close to the brain power of this God..
So even if I know nothing at all. (considering the description of knowing something is debatable.) Your answer is " No you doorknob!" Unless you know how to prove it otherwise.

Illustration: A man witnesses a kid become a victim of a hit and run. The man saw EVERYTHING, from the time the kid ran out to the middle of the street, to the time the car zoomed out of view. So, in essence, the man knows everything that happened. A woman who just arrived on the scene after the car is long gone calls the paramedics when she sees a kid in the middle of the street, unconscious. She knows Nothing of what happened. Who should the cops question to get the best information possible to help find the driver who hit the kid?

Without being ridiculous - do you even know what you saying - you are using contradictory statements to prove that you dont believe in God. So why ask a question to show you stupidity? Especially in a philosophical forum

God is like the screen in a movie theater, and we are the actors on the screen ... God is the 'ground' of reality ... God doesn't control you like a puppeteer in the sky ... not petty, doesn't wish to know or plot out your future ... that's up to you .. and your free will. Some say seeing what we do is almost an entertainment to God ... but Gods love is always with us cause He/She is our very Self !
Yours truly
Jonnie

My dog thinks of me as a god. I can create evrything it needs, food, shelter and love. Yet I truly know nothing. Would the dog be better off not believing in me?

Another way to put it: "Is wisdom the comprehension of one's own ignorance?" Either omniscience is true or it is false. If God is not omniscient, then he is not. There is an inherent contradiction in your question.

you should tell that friend of yours to stop worrying about stupid questions that get everyone confused. Most of the people here including me can't stand to think of such confusing things such as this with our tiny pea brains.

Nobody, nobody knows what God thinks. To say that they do is the worst kind of delusion.
