No but imaginary racism is everywhere. Blacks that don't get accepted to a school or for a scholarship, or a job scream racism all the time, without ever seeing if they had the merit to get the position in the first place. Black kids beaten by white cops scream racism all the time when they wont drop a weapon, and get hit with a baton. Nope racism isn't a problem but, all this stoopid crap blacks do is. For every 10 cries of racism it would suprise me if 1 was actual racism.

yes. on a micro level all the way to the macro level. (micro, person to person conversation. macro level, social institutions laws etc.)
micro example: some people believe there will be a race war. also there are broad generalizations floating around about arabs, mexicans, etc.
macro example: racial profiling.
however, only focusing on racism can create a problem because people forget about things like classism, etc.
i am of the opinion that it is very important for people to see beyond social categories and see themselves as part of the same group, humanity, and work towards equality and pluralistic societies...

There is racism EVERYWHERE. BUT I would also like to point out that racism is in ALL races, not just white, black or any other race. AND NOT just in the USA either. It is world wide.

No...
If racism were so rampant as some the "race pimps" claim then how come so many third world people come to the US of A and make something substantial for themselves and their families?

absolutely is. i live in appalachia and most people around here are still shocked to see interracial couples. my parents claim to not be racist but told me if i dated a black man they'd never speak to me. it is a problem with all races whether it's white against black or black against white, etc. i enjoy people of all races though. as long as there are different races around, there will always be racism...same as the feminist movements. as long as men are around, they will all stand up and demand whatever it is that they're demanding. the world will never get along.

I think it's a huge problem. The immigration issue right now is a prime example of it. Whites should realize that they aren't a majority anymore. But they aren't a minority either. We need a Black President!!

Yes racism is still a problem. It's just not as obvious, but it's still here.

i was at escalator up at lex subway station. a big white guy two front of me blocking the steps githat other cant walk up while the escalator moving up. after that man goes, and i am now in the front row, i heard a loud shout from the back, move on damn you!
she was i big black woman who don't dare to shout at the white man, instead, she shout at me once that white man has gone.
a white girl at time square yell to me, who let's the dog out.
an old lady near central park whisper to me, slut.
spanish yell to me, chino.
finally, in the chinese bakery, the waitress speak to me in chinese, i response in english because i cannot speak chinese. soon after find out i don't speak chinese eventhough i look like them, the way they look at me and the way they talk to me is changed immediately.
i think the root of racist is envy.
