So I just dropped Choir yesterday to take art... and then I just got really ambitious and planned out the rest of my high school classes.
Junior yr:
English
Spanish 2
Astronomy
Geology
Algebra 2
Seminary
art
psychology
Senior yr:
AP english
American Gov.
Economics 1 sem/Sociology 2nd sem
Seminary
Art
Chemistry in the Community
Spanish 3
Trigonometry, choir, or open period
And then I decided I wanted to be either a geologist, a meteorologist, a forrest ranger, or a psychologist! what do you think?? are these good classes to take? If not, what should I drop or add? The only thing I am bad at is math... like really bad. So I don't know if I can do any of this or even take some of the classes like Astronomy and what not. I guess if I want to take it so bad I will just have to work hard and get tutoring this year.
Was anyone here bad at math and was still able to take some of these classes (astronomy, geology, chemm comm)? Oh my goodness I'm just really excited haha!

Hahaha! I know I sound like a rocket scientist... but actually I'm not really that smart! I'm just motivated and determined!

I don't know why you listed some of those classes, because obviously most of those won't help in a science field.
Really high school is nothing, wait a couple years until college (assuming you go, and if you don't good luck in those fields..).
I'm not the best at math, but recently placed into a decently high level math class in college.I tried to get in classes like chem, physics, astronomy, geology this semester, but all the classes were full, so I am sol until I transfer to msu in January.
But I can tell you, Astronomy, Geology, and 'chem com' don't take much math, unless you are really dedicated. By the way, chem com is like chemistry for 'tards, try something like physics, or some other chem class.. but those both require decent math knowledge.
Those classes are decent to take though, really you can go to college level classes without having any previous knowledge in subjects such as chem and geology, thats what the 100 level classes are for.
One question.. how do you plan to go from Algebra 2 to trig?
Trig is a bit harder than algebra imo..
Oh, and no offense, you don't sound like a rocket scientist to me.

Don't be too worried about what you take in high school - when you have choices, take what you think will be interesting to you, that way you'll have a better idea what to major in in college, etc.
If you do end up in the sciences, you'll have to take a bit of math in college. As a college advisor, let me tell you what many of my students tell me - it is very easy to forget all of your math skills! I suggest you take math every year, don't skip it senior year. If you do, you'll only get rusty in math and it will be more painful when you take it at college.
As for being "bad" at math, there's a cure for that, it's called "practice". You may never learn to like math, and that's ok. But you can learn to be good at it. Tutoring is probably a good idea, it will build your confidence along with your math skills (which I've often noticed is half the battle).
Good luck! If you are as entusiastic about your studies as you seem to be in your question, I'm sure you'll do great!

I would suggest that you get as much info as possible on your career choices - many areas of science take a lot of ambition and also rely heavily on mathematics (like astronomy) to do well in. Beyond that, go for it! The more scientists, the better!

If you only care about graduating HS, then don't bother with trig, chem.
If you care about your future, choose something besides forest ranger and psychologist. There are sooooo many people who went to college for this and are now jobless. There is no demand for these people, way too many people already are in these fields. I'm not sure about the other 2, but they sound interesting!! Geology is not a common study in college, and geologists are needed in many fields. Good luck :)

I was really bad at math but ended up taking calculus in 10 grade because I did extremely well in Algebra.
