i'm 12 days late having my period and i've been cramping a little and my boobs have been sore for 2 weeks now and i'm exhausted all the time. i tested today and its supposed to form a plus sign for positive and a minus for negative. the vertical line was really dark, and the horizontal line was almost too light to see. so would that be a positive or not? i kinda figured that a negative would not have a vertical line at all so i believe i'm pregnant.

The 2 lines CAN be 2 different shades. I would say to retest in a couple of days with morning urine. Sounds like you are though. The sore boobs are some of the first things that most notice even before a missed period. Goodluck

You very well could be pregnant but with that test there is no way to know with that one. You can get another in a day or two and use the morning urine where your hormones will be more concentrated. But it is not uncommon for your breast to be extra tender also if you are just late. I have done the same thing many times.

I would say most likely you are pg. I have 3 grandsons. My daughters buy their pg tests at a local dollar store. Each time, they indicated they were pregnant and each time they were correct..so,.. cheap HPT or not.. i think it is correct. I agree with the others tho, call your OB and get in. Normally they will do a test free and then you will know for sure. Remember to eat healthy and stay active!! Best of Luck and Congrats!!

well, if you're late, and the test seemed positive, then maybe you are. You should go see a doctor to be sure, but also, if you really want to know, buy a different test that turns a certain color instead of lines which are confusing. good luck! and if you are pregnant, congrats!

how long did u wait to read it. it must have been equate. i'm 9 weeks and mine done the same thing it want have two lines on the positive side if your not pregnant. take another or go to clinic to get them to give u one most likely ur preg.

When in doubt go see your ob or pcp! That's the first place you should go after buying a home pregnancy test.

yeah u might be thats how my hpt did. if u get another the first time u use the potty im the morning do it then the pregnancy hormone is highest then it should show up brighter.

take another test because if its hard to see you probably wouldnt be pregnant i would take another one in acouple days because it could be to early to show up on the test
