I have a 2001 mits. Eclipse with high miles and i love my body kit so i just want to put a new engine in it nothing too high but nothing that is dirt cheap either

you might try NAPA. you might be able to get a crate engine from them. i checked on the price of one for an old chevy of mine and it was about $1000. if they have one for a mits., it will probably run a little more.

Try the local junkyard or E-Bay. If that fails, you need to hunt down crate engine suppliers for import cars, like Jasper and Wantanbe. Expect to pay more from a company than you would on ebay or at a junkyard.

Depending on where you live, you might want to check with the National Chain autoparts store. It could be ordered out of a box. If not, try the webs yellow pages or google it.

you can go to ebay and get one. My husband got all his engines pieces for his eclipse on there really good deals and new
