I have a friend who's been begging me to come and visit her so I finally told her I would, but only for a week, we(I have a 3 yr old) would have to be back before labor day, she agreed so she sent me a bus ticket we came out, lost our clothes bag on the bus, and now...she won't send us home until after labor day...because she says the bus' are full...she even bought our tickets for the 4th of Sept....I dont believe it...and I got word that she intended to keep us here for a month...I have to get back home...I am a single mother and my sons father pays child support which we live on and I do not want to anger him and he will get angry if he finds out we came this way...My friend has all the money in the world and i know she can have those tickets upgraded but she is being stubborn and actually told me I could go stay in a shelter if I wanted...I dont know what to do...I hate to think of this as being abuse...what do you think?

Call the police and tell them you are being held hostage. Never go again to visit your friend. That is down right stupid on her part. Go stay in a shelter. She should have bought you a round trip ticket to start with.

I suggest that you stop whining and figure out a way to get home. Why didn't you buy a round trip ticket? Whose computer are you using? If it is yours, sell it for a ticket. Call a relative, the ex-husband..whatever. You are extremely irresponsible, sweetie.....what is the matter with you??? Your "friend" was nice enough to pay for a ticket but there is a big piece of this story that you left out....I am sure! And, when you get back home, why don't you go out and get a job and stop living on the child support??? You sound lazy, too. So what, you are a single mother that is even more reason why you need to get a job. Stop being a burden on people. Shame on you......you are very ungrateful!!
