What should i do? my friend Beth is mad at me because i like the guy she likes. but i think she knows that i have a better chance with him anyway?

Beth is your friend, and guys come and go. However, if you really really like him the best thing to do is to be honest. Tell her you like him too. Maybe if you tell her you like him but let her have a fair shot first, meaning DON'T flirt with him until she tries to and then IF he doesn't like her you can give it your best shot..
See if she is OK with that. If you are honest with her I think you can still be her friend and not lose her by stabbing her in the back by trying to steal her crush. If she says that she doesn't want you to go after him you have to understand that she likes him and saw him first and that there are literally so many guys out there, but not a whole lot of girls that can replace Beth. Trust me, I have been down this road a long time ago, and many times.
