I grew up with those towers and so did a lot of other people in New York, if they build the Freedom Tower, the terrorists won because we are basically building a trophy for them.

theyre not building a trophy for them, theyew showing them that they cant take us down, cuz were building something bigger and better
also, if they were to rebuild the twin towers, people who lost someone on 911 might find it too emotional to look at them and might refrain from ever coming near the city again, it would probably be easier for them to look at a memorial, even tho it would still be hard

Nope. The Twin Towers site is going to be home to the new Freedom Tower (1776 feet tall), some smaller buildings, and a memorial.

Who has the money to do it and they were of a inferior design why would any one knowing how easy they fell spend a dime on something of that magnitude?
