There is a model number on the drive that starts with ST, find it and type in the model number in the search box provided on Seagate's home page at:
http://www.seagate.com/

Enter the model there and click Search, the next page will show you interface type for that drive, etc.

According to Seagate's website and this document

http://www.seagate.com/docs/pdf/marketing/po_barracuda_7200_10.pdf

The Barracuda can be either IDE or SATA. You would need a model number or more information to determine which.
