I just read the harrowing account of the Fox News journalists captivity in Gaza. They were ultimately released after stating that they are converted Muslems. Well Hells Bells! Halleluia! Count me in, im now Macmoud Jones, muslim. I just bought myself instant innoculation against islamo-facists. I am a muslem, and it was simple. I didnt even have to have gun put to my head and kidnapped for 2 weeks. I wish joining the Elks was this easy. Now that I am a muslem, I can avoid airport security checks because they are too busy frisking your grandmother as to appear they are racial profiling. I like this muslim thing, I think I might ride it out, and see where it takes me.

The two Fox News journalists kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza two weeks ago have been freed. They said they were forced to convert to Islam, "but it was only because they had the guns."

In another forum a guy named Elliott said:

"WOW! in only 1400 years, Moslems have progressed from forcing people to convert at swordpoint to forcing them to convert at gunpoint. Who says there's no progress in the Moslem world."

The two are 60-year-old Steve Centanni and his 36-year-old cameraman Olaf Wiig of New Zealand. They were both seen on a seconds-long video immediately after being freed; Centanni appeared tearful and very emotional, while Wiig was seen running towards and up a set of stairs and appeared angry. They are reportedly in the Beach Hotel in Gaza City.

Because of taqiyyah and nifaq, a Muslim will not merely accept an affirmation that a person accepts Islam. Taqiyah (lying to safeguard Islam) is what Muslims do when they are in danger. The prime reason for taqiyah is that a person may say something with his lips but have Islam in his heart. The opposite is nifaq (hipocrisy) to say with ones lips that he accepts Islam and say the creed (shahada) "I believe there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger" but in his heart he does not believe in Islam. That is why a person who claims to be a Muslim will not be believed. It is only a first step.

A person must accept the Qur'an as his holy book. During the journey to heaven (miraj)Muhammad was appointed by Allah to bring the Qur'an to mankind. A person must learn the Qur'an in Arabic. A person must submit totally to Allah and pray 5 times per day in a prescribed way. A person must try to get others to convert. A person must contribute money to Islamic charities.

Now when everybody else converts or feels sufficiently subdued to pay the submission tribute (jizyahz) a caliphate can be established and everyone can live peacefully happily ever after in perpetual utopia.

Jihad. If the whole world has not submitted to Islam, after your faith is stronger you may be asked to participate in converting others or eliminating them. This is jihad in the cause of Allah. Do you know how to make a bomb? If you strap one to your chest, go into a crowded place with infidels and eliminate them by exploding the bomb, you will wake up in paradise. This is the true believer - mumin (mumeen). If you do not want to die you can contribute money.

To understand the verse below there are some Arabic words and phrases that are difficult to translate:
Mumin (true Muslim believer)
mujahid (a mumin who fights in jihad fee sybil Allah)
jihad fee sybil Allah (the struggle in the cause of Allah against the infidels roughly - but inaccurately -translated in English as holy war)
qaad - sedentary people

Here are two English translations:

Qur'an Sura Al-Nesã´ 4:95
Those of the believers who sit at home, excepting the disabled ones, and those who strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their persons, are not equal. Allah has exalted in rank those who strive with their wealth and their persons above those who sit at home. And to each Allah has promised good. And Allah has exalted those who strive above those who sit at home, by a great reward - (Sher Ali translation)

The two are not equal: those who sit at home (and do not join the fighting) _ unless they have a reason; they are handicapped _ and those who strive hard in the path of Allah with their wealth and lives. Over those who sit at home, Allah has excelled and elevated to a higher honor those who strive hard with their wealth and lives. Compared to those who sit at home, Allah will award a far greater reward to those who wage a struggle. (Munir Munshey translation)

You might want to read the Islamic concept of Al-Taqiyah to infiltrate and destroy kafir countries by Dr. Walid Phares. Taqiyah is done to prevent the new converts from seeing the real face of Islam; at least until their faith or mental conditioning is strong enough to make them turn against their own country and people. I've got a bridge to sell you . . .

Seriously, if you are a Christian, I pray you will never renounce Christ. He told us that many will die for His Name. Now, I'm not judging those journalists. They did what they believed they had to do. It's not my place to judge them. I pray, that if I were ever in that situation, that God would give me the strength to not waver from my faith.

You'll still have the Shi'a trying to kill you if you're a Sunni, the Sunni trying to kill you if you're a Shi'a, both of them trying to kill you if you're a Sufi, and all of them trying to kill you if you try to renounce the whole mess.
