ok I reallly need help on this one! I just accidently installed some stupid smiley thing. Now my internet thing at the top of the window looks weird and has different stuff then before...when i IM people on aim or yahoo theres a weird little smiley face icon at the top that has drop down lists, I cant make it go away! please help

Go to control panel, Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall it.

Read the fine print! It usually says in there that it installs tool bars and other crap, you just have to read it! Uninstall it immediately!

You must have downloaded smiley central. If im correct that is loaded with spyware.
Goto www.ewido.net and run the free scan to find and remove any spyware.
