Question about pharmacy technician?

I am planning to get a certificate for pharmacy technician. Does the certificate you get from working under the drug stores such as walgreens and cvs the same as the one you would get from going to the 9-months program at local institute? Thanks

yes you still have to take the test and get your license but when you work in the pharmacy you don't go to school for it. you get the experience there.
